INSTITUTIONS OVERVIEW

The Tanzania Centre for the International Health is a health training institutions, established in 2006 under a public –private partnership between the ministry of health and Novartis foundations  and the Swiss Tropical and Public Health Institute .  TTCIH aims is to supporting the Tanzania Government  effort to strengthen human resources development the TTCIH’S Board of government  effort looking for the motivated, qualified and highly experienced candidate  to fill the positions of the executive Director S/HE will be  preferably be based in Ifakara , Kilombero, District Tanzania

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

-          Provide executive leadership to the institutions through the development and implementations  of the strategic and operations  plans

-          Responsible for driving the  growth of the TTICH into the premier institutions, through expansions of course offering  and increase in enrolment

-          Oversees the implementations  of strategies system and process designed to ensure sound the human resources and financial management and the promotions of the good order throughout the institutions

-          Represents the TTICH internally and externally in order to promote the awareness and understanding the missions and the vision , policies, objectives and programms of the TTICH 

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

-          Must have attain a PHD in the field of the health

-          Must have extensive  knowledge and working experience of  in medical educations not less than 10 years  which 6 of this  must be senior management level

-          A person possessing out sanding  managerial and administrative competence

     Ability to stimulate the  encourage new ideas and development through motivations and support for the staff and student

     Ability to  influence , persuade and build coalitions and networks
