PROGRAM COORDINATOR AMERICAN INTERNATIONAL HEALTH ALLIANCE
POSITION SUMMARY
Under the direction of the AIHA/Tanzania Country Director, the program coordinator is responsible for supporting the AIHA implementations of a community based home based care twinning program in Tanzania. Based out of Dar es Salaam, the P.C will be overseeing implementations of its activities units. The P.C will also work in collaborations with PEPFAR funded partners, other sections the ministry of health, community, development gender and children and other national and international CHBC stakeholders
ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Coordinate and oversees implementations of CHBC partners and program to ensure timely implementations of program activities
- Work with AHIA/HQ staff, AIHA TZ staff partners and other identified partners to develop maintain program work plan making changes and updates appropriate
- Maintain a close collaborative working relationship with other PEPFAR implementing partners and stakeholder including MOH , private sector, associations regulatory and training partners
- Manage CHBC budget assist in developing and monitoring budgets and forecasting coats
- Schedule coordinate and participate in program trainings workshop and meeting
MONITORING AND EVALUATION
- Oversees program monitoring and evaluations activities to ensure data is properly captured and report
- Provide support and assistance to CHBC partners and develop and submit timely
- Document CHBC outcomes success special activities
- Assist with tracking annual PEPFAR 3.0 targets down to the site level required
- Coordinate with AIHA /Tanzania staff and CHBC partners to develop nursing publications and research opportunities
QUALIFICATIONS
- Undergraduate degree in medicine, public health, nursing, social worker or other related fields with minimum of 3 years working experience
- Experience in CHBC program management and support procedures
- Experience with U,S government donor compliance and reporting
- Ability to develop and maintain close relationship with various stakeholder
- Self starter and strong mulct- tasking and problem solving skills
- Ability to train and mentor health worker of different cadres
- Willingness to work additional hours in order to meet tight deadlines
- English and Swahili fluency is essential
