Job Details

Group Operations: a range of essential and complex services to ensure processes across the bank work as effectively and efficiently as possible
Job Purpose

 Provider of exceptional customer service to bank’s corporate clients.
Confirm / call back  all payment provided  instructions as  from corporate clients and ensure timely feedback and status of the payment is
Understand the risks associated with handling corporate clients’ transactions and promptly processing according to TAT.
 Maintain a high level of integrity and ethical standards.

Key Responsibilities/Accountabilities
Instructions Receipt and Logging (FRONT OFFICE).
- Receive corporate clients’ instructions. (From Customer/ CCC front office or by printed email from Tanzania corporate care group email.
- Correctly identify the person presenting the document either agent or signatory.
-Review clients’ instructions for complete due diligence.
-  Register corporate clients’ instructions in special registers/CIMS.

CALL BACK:
- Perform the call back/confirmation process in line with approved limits as per requirements and procedures.
- Indicate confirmation details on the client’s instruction.

                                                                        

Due Diligence:
- Verify client’s signature, amount, account name, account numbers and check balance on Finacle.
- Confirm presence of supporting documents for overseas payments.
-Ensure the details on the customer instruction matches with banks systems (EE/CIMS).
- Send the instructions to processing team.

ADVISING ROLES:

- Confidentiality is key on this role.

 Others:
- Answer calls in a professional manner and always maintain a positive image and feedback.
- Ensure that laid-down instructions are adhered to while providing excellent service.
- Maintain high level of corporate clients’ confidentiality at all times.
-Take personal ownership of matters (queries, complaints and/or suggestions) on behalf of the Manager and Team leader corporate client care, ensuring that matters are channelled to investigation team.
- Escalates complex matters to the line manager for prompt decision-making.

Preferred Qualification and Experience
- Business related tertiary education graduate will be

Job Purpose

Ensure that all customers receive a consistently high   quality service by effectively managing and developing all available   resources (staff, systems, processes) and ensuring that a strong customer-focused   service culture becomes entrenched in the branch. Ensure that cross-selling   opportunities are actioned and customers are migrated to more appropriate and   cost-effective channels. Proactively identify and assess the risks faced by   the branch and maintain an effective system of controls to reduce exposure.   Maintain a high level of integrity and ethical standards.

Key Responsibilities/Accountabilities
 Operational effectiveness
    Responsible for the net profitability of the branch: ensure effective management of revenue and expenditure with emphasis on the containment of controllable  costs.
    Optimise and  streamline existing systems, processes and controls for cost-effective service delivery.
    Manage assets and  cash holdings by ensuring that these are handled according to laid-down instructions and by optimising physical/system security controls.

Customer service
    Ensure that customer service standards are set and maintained in line with the requirements of each market segment.
    Ensure that customer complaints are monitored, trends and root causes identified and  addressed at source to prevent recurrence.
    Ensure that customer needs are anticipated and met through provision of appropriate  products and services via the most suitable channel.

Sales management
    Develop micro market sales plans to achieve responsive sales budgets/targets for branch  (MLM).

Risk management
    Ensure that  laid-down instructions are adhered to by all areas under control.

Preferred Qualification and Experience
    Undergraduate or      postgraduate qualification
    Tanzania      Institute of Bankers or related qualification would be an advantage.
    A seasoned banker      with about 5 years branch banking experience
    Experience in managing a diverse range of people and      activities are essential.
    Comprehensive      knowledge of bank’s laid-down policies and procedures relating to all      areas under control.
    Knowledge of the      Retail Banking value proposition.
    Knowledge and      understanding of the Area sales and service strategies.

The Role:
 
The Post holder will manage fundraising efforts and donor care at country level; including planning, managing and ensuring the delivery of an agreed fundraising budget.  He/she will lead and support TCO’s programme staff, senior management, finance and admin staff to deliver upon all donor commitments and to drive fundraising amongst all donor groups.

Partner Liaison, Fundraising and Communication
 Initiate and manage existing and potential strategic corporate and media relationships, together with the Chief Executive Officer and the Board of Directors
 Work effectively across the Bank to identify current funding requirements for core activities and specific projects from foundations, trusts and government. Take responsibility for contributing to an annual fundraising target

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
EDUCATION: holder of a Master degree in Economics, Finance, Banking or Business Administration or related disciplines. He/She should be computer literate with excellent command of excel and word processing. Knowledge of banking or possession of Associate ship TIOB professional Diploma will be added advantages.
EXPERIENCE work experience and exposure to business management for not less than five (5) years in senior positions.
